Clinical Nurse Specialist - Hospice Palliative Care Specialist Service Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to specialist palliative care in a community setting? Te Mahi/About the Position We have a 0.8 FTE permanent Clinical Nurse Specialist position available as part of our multi-disciplinary team. The clinical nurse specialist is an advanced nursing practice role, responsible for providing excellence in clinical care and liaison, for patients and whānau with complex palliative care needs. Additionally, the role includes day-to-day clinical leadership, for a geographical area. He momo/About you Important to this role is the ability to work alongside primary providers of palliative care in collaborative partnership. The successful candidate will have advanced clinical assessment skills, in prioritising and coordinating reviews of patients with complex needs. Alongside this an ability to build clinical networks maintaining excellent relationships with other health professionals. If you have 4 years post registration relevant experience, a post graduate diploma in palliative care or equivalent, and a driver license you may be who we are looking for.
