Job Description
Experienced Payroll Professional We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to manage end‑to‑end payroll for approximately 230 employees. The role blends a strong payroll focus (≈40%) with finance and project administration responsibilities. Responsibilities Process payroll end‑to‑end for all staff. Manage payroll queries and ensure compliance with New Zealand legislation. Maintain payroll records, systems (iPayroll), and reporting. Collaborate with HR on employee changes and payroll updates. Review offshore managed payroll. Set up and maintain projects in the internal ERP system. Support billing, timesheet, and reporting processes. Assist with general finance administration. Monitor outstanding project invoices. Liaise with internal project leads to ensure timely follow‑up. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, capable of running payroll independently. Strong knowledge of NZ payroll legislation (KiwiSaver, Holidays Act, etc.). High attention to detail and accuracy. Exposure to finance administration or transactional finance. Enjoys working with internal stakeholders and building relationships. Proactive, organised, and adaptable. ERP experience (e.g., SAP, D365) is beneficial but not essential. Location & Hours Based in the CBD with an in‑office policy. The role supports typical office hours but also accommodates flexible start and finish times as needed.
