Clinical Transcriptionist

Overview Our busy Clinical Transcription Service has a vacancy for a full-time Senior Clinical Transcriptionist working Monday to Friday. The role is responsible for providing efficient, timely, high‑quality and customer‑focused transcription services. The position may be teleworking / working from home or based onsite in Takapuna, depending on the applicant’s preference. The role also may assist with reviewing, auditing and refining the grammar of AI scribe‑generated Dragon medical workflow documentation, which is actively monitored by our team for quality and compliance. Responsibilities Provide efficient, timely, high‑quality, and customer‑focussed transcription services. Assist with review, audit, and grammatical refinement of AI scribe‑generated medical documentation. Maintain compliance with quality standards and documentation guidelines. Collaborate with the transcription team and other health IT systems as required. Qualifications Experience in a clinical transcriptionist role for a large New Zealand District Health Board. Excellent communication, problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and health IT systems. Customer‑centric focus and attention to detail.
