Evening Forklift Warehouse Supervisor – Bidfood Queenstown We are seeking a motivated Evening Warehouse Forklift Supervisor to join our busy food distribution operation in Queenstown. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day‑to‑day running of warehouse operations, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and customer service. The work involves using, training and supervising others on a forklift to load and unload freight and re‑stock warehouse products. Key Responsibilities Ensure all customer orders are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched on time, meeting service standards and delivery deadlines Oversee inwards goods processes to ensure all stock is received accurately and processed promptly Maintain correct stock rotation, storage, labelling, and warehouse replenishment practices Support the training, coaching and performance management of the warehouse team Load and unload delivery vehicles using a forklift Stock and re‑stock the Warehouse using a forklift Train and Supervise team members in the safe operating procedures in using the forklift What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role is preferred but experience in a similar food distribution warehouse environment will be considered Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and health & safety practices Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) and walk and stand for long periods of time. Must have a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 OR 3 years of relevant work experience This is a full‑time role, the roster will require you to work weekends, with Tuesday and Wednesday off with a 3:30pm start and 12:00am approximate finish. Minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed and maximum weekly hours are 60. The hourly rate is between $32.50 and $34.00 per hour depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
