Help improve health outcomes for New Zealanders Pharmac | Te Pātaka Whaioranga is looking for a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Advisor – Health Economics to join our Pharmaceutical Assessment team. In this role, you’ll help ensure decisions about medicines and medical devices are informed by robust clinical, epidemiological, and economic evidence. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys analytical work, clear writing, and contributing to meaningful public health decisions. What you’ll be doing Supporting the assessment of medicines and/or medical devices using clinical and economic evidence Reviewing, synthesising, and critically appraising published evidence Contributing to health economic reports, Factors for Consideration summaries, literature reviews, and other key deliverables of the health economics team Working closely with health economists, clinicians, and other internal and external experts What we’re looking for A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience Experience or strong capability in health technology assessment or evidence-based analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Background in GRADE or other systematic review or risk of bias tools is an advantage An understanding of, or interest in developing skills in, health economics and the NZ health system Benefits Five weeks annual leave Additional paid leave for end of year close-down period Annual $500 hauora payment for eligible kaimahi Health Insurance corporate discount with Southern Cross Paid Parental Leave support in addition to minimum legislative requirements Hybrid working – work from home up to two days per week #J-18808-Ljbffr
