Physiotherapist, Wairau Hospital (Permanent Part-time) Join a positive, friendly and supportive Physiotherapy team and apply your skills to make a real difference to people's lives in beautiful Marlborough (Blenheim based). About the Role You will be based at Wairau Hospital working within the physiotherapy team to provide care for clients with a wide range of conditions. We are particularly interested in physiotherapists with experience in outpatient and community settings. This role requires you to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, delivering quality assessment and goal‑oriented interventions through a patient‑centred approach. You must be adaptable, resourceful and flexible to meet service needs. Key Responsibilities Provide assessment and goal‑oriented interventions for clients with diverse conditions Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver patient‑centred care Participate in on‑call physiotherapy services during weekends Working Hours 56 hours per fortnight (0.7 FTE), Monday to Friday. Weekend on‑call shifts are included. Required Qualifications and Experience NZ registration in Physiotherapy and a current practising certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand Minimum of two years post‑graduate experience Strong foundation in evidence‑based practice, collaborative mindset, and commitment to compassionate, patient‑centred care Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying About the Team & Location Physiotherapy Services at Blenheim are renowned for patient‑centred care and offer therapies to improve quality of life for those with complex needs.
