Category Merchandise Manager 1 Direct Report Office-based + 1 day WFH $120,000 + Lots of fun stuff! The Role This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a diverse product portfolio within a commercially focused business. You'll be responsible for driving category performance through strategic buying, inventory management, supplier partnerships and data-led decision-making. Collaborating across retail, marketing, finance, and operations, you will identify new growth opportunities through promotions, optimize stock levels, and adjust pricing strategies, while negotiating with suppliers to help drive profitable growth. If you enjoy owning a category and influencing business performance, this is a role where you'll be able to make a genuine impact. You This pivotal role requires a commercially driven retail professional with a strong background in category management, buying or merchandise planning. You'll enjoy analysing data, making commercial decisions and building strong supplier relationships to deliver profitable growth. Previous experience in Category management or a similar commercial retail role. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales, margin and profitability. Experience managing inventory, forecasting demand and optimising stock levels. Proven supplier negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory and market data. Experience in pricing and promotional strategies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with DTC platforms such as Shopify, inventory management systems would be advantageous.
