Senior Physiotherapist - Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Acute Allied Health

The Opportunity We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team in the musculoskeletal outpatient Physiotherapy clinic at Middlemore Hospital. The team forms part of the Adult Rehabilitation, Acute Allied Health Service for Counties Manukau District. Comprehensive physiotherapy services are provided to a culturally and clinically diverse group of adults with musculoskeletal conditions, including referrals from a range of hospital‑based specialties and primary care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physiotherapy services to adults with musculoskeletal conditions. Supervise rotational staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students. Work alongside experienced Physiotherapists, a Section Head Physiotherapist, and the Physiotherapy Professional Leader, and collaborate with the wider Allied Health team. Qualifications New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with current APC. At least 5 years experience as a Physiotherapist in orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Experience in a secondary care setting. Experience leading quality improvement. Experience in supervision of rotational staff and students. Full, clean driver’s licence. Postgraduate clinical qualification (desirable). Experience in research and clinical audit (desirable). Benefits Refund of your annual practising certificate cost.
