Job Description An intern Software Engineer is an important software development role within our early careers program. Generally, you will be working alongside Software Engineers with various levels of experience, along with other scrum team members and consultants. It is expected that you will be involved in a project that can be completed within the timeframe of the internship. There will be a final presentation on this project and the overall intern experience. This role requires dedication to technical excellence, including writing code, team collaboration, testing and documentation. Good communication skills are essential, as well as a can-do attitude and willingness to work across disciplines if required. Responsibilities Software Development: Developing .NET, SQL, and related front-end code. Peer reviews. Following coding style standards and guidelines. Using source control. Using Test Driven Development techniques. Writing unit and integration tests. Domain Knowledge: Learning Visa Spend Clarity domain concepts. Writing documentation. Knowledge sharing with other team members. Agile Mind-set: Practice agile scrum methodology. Contribute to improving team Agile processes. Active learning and an open mind. Vis a requires at least 3 days in office; expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications What we’re looking for in this role: University students completing their Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields, who will have 1 year to complete their degree at the time of the internship program. Graduating in 2027. The internship program will run from November 2026 to February 2027 for approximately 11 weeks. Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited to: Java C/C++ C# .NET Python JavaScript TypeScript HTML CSS Objective-C Good team collaboration skills. Strong communication skills. Good relationship building skills. Self-motivation. Attention to detail. Open mind to learning new skills and development processes.
