About the Role Ward AG is part of Older Persons Mental Health, based at Burwood Hospital. The position is a 0.4FTE permanent role, working 2 days a week (not necessarily consecutive) across all shifts: day, afternoon and evening. About You To be successful in this role you must be a Registered Nurse with a Mental Health scope on your annual practising certificate. Mental Health experience is desirable, but candidates with general nursing experience who have a passion for caring for those living with a Mental Health condition will also be considered. This role offers a perfect transition for someone who wishes to work within Mental Health while maintaining general medical skills, complex pharmacology, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Skills and Experience 2–4 years’ experience as a registered nurse, ideally in Specialist Mental Health Services Hold registration with the Nursing Council of NewZealand, with mental health scope and current APC Confident practitioner with good patient assessment skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide variety of people Experience working in Mental Health or a passion to develop those skills Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of NewZealand.
