The Opportunity We are looking for a passionate HR Advisor to join our Makomako Road site in Palmerston North, where you will provide operational HR coordination and advisory support ensuring accurate and timely contract administration, onboarding, HR system updates and processes. Reporting to the Site Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Industrial & Supply Chain HR, your key responsibilities include: Coordinate employment contracts, variations, and associated HR administration and document management Coordinate onboarding activities, including required documentation, system set-up/updates, and process completion Coordinate and track cyclical HR processes to ensure completion to schedule (e.g., regular HR cycles and site people-process activities) Maintain HR systems, employee records, and workflow processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality Respond to operational HR queries from leaders and employees, providing process advice and coordinating actions through to resolution or escalation as required Support the Head of Industrial & Supply Chain HR with governance activities, reporting, documentation control, and HR administration support. Our Makamako Road site in Palmerston North has been operating since 2001 and produces approximately 70,000 metric tonnes of high-quality milk and cream each year. The site manufactures products for iconic brands such as Anchor and Simply Milk, as well as bulk beverage products for domestic and international customers. About You We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable and organised HR professional, who has high attention to detail and thrives in a busy, deadline-driven environment. We want to hear from you if you have: Experience in HR coordination/HR Advisory support including contracts, onboarding, HR Administration and HR process delivery Effective stakeholder communication and customer-service mindset Excellent record keeping in HR systems, including confidentiality and data integrity Practical understanding of HR processes and ability to provide clear process guidance and escalation Human Resources qualification is desirable (or equivalent experience).
