Production Manager

We are a small trap manufacturer located in central Petone; we are looking for a self‑motivated individual who can run the floor of the factory, work closely with me and the assembly team to meet deadlines and produce quality products for local and international markets. Key Responsibilities Processing orders, customer communications via email and phone. Setting assembly schedules and priorities orders with the team, sending out shipments and tracking to customers, keeping stock levels updated in the software, liaising with me on reordering and forecasting of parts. Receiving, de‑vanning (can be heavy) parts and storing them in our warehouse light forklift duties. Assembly and quality control checks and procedures. On site job, 8am-5pm or similar hours, full‑time position at our manufacturing facility in Petone. Qualifications/Qualities Prior production work experience. Excellent writing and communication/ leadership skills. Can work under pressure and delegate tasks effectively. Proficient computer skills – preferable prior knowledge of inventory software and stock take duties.
