An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Centre Manager to lead the ongoing success of Dress Smart Onehunga, a flagship outlet retail destination in Auckland. The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Retail & Office, you will take full ownership of the strategic, financial, and operational performance of the Centre. Leading a team of four, you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class retail environment while driving strong commercial outcomes and stakeholder value. This is a broad leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future performance of a high-profile retail asset. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Leadership Develop and execute the annual business plan across operations, capital expenditure and marketing Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting, ensuring performance aligns with financial targets Drive income growth, cost control and long‑term asset value Operations & Centre Performance Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, safety, compliance and customer experience Oversee maintenance programmes, contractors and capital projects Implement initiatives to increase foot traffic, sales and overall centre performance Retailer & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, owners and key stakeholders Partner with retailers to optimise trading performance and customer outcomes Work closely with leasing and marketing to enhance tenancy mix and positioning Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing centre management team Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement Oversee recruitment, performance management and staff development Leasing & Commercial Oversight Support leasing activity including renewals, negotiations and occupancy strategies Ensure compliance with lease obligations, rent reviews and debtor management Maximise NOI through proactive tenant and asset management About You You are a commercially astute property or retail professional with proven experience in centre or asset management. You bring strong leadership capability, sound financial acumen, and the ability to manage a complex and fast‑paced environment. Key strengths include: Experience in retail centre, commercial property or operational management Strong financial capability including budgeting, forecasting and reporting Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Solid understanding of leasing, tenant management and retail drivers Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams Knowledge of health & safety, compliance and operational best practice Why Apply?
