Senior Advisor – Local Government We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Strategy & Policy team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the Council meets its statutory obligations under the Local Government Act 2002. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Team Leader to support the Council’s statutory duties. Provide expertise in the development of the Long‑term Plan (LTP), Annual Plan, Annual Report, and policy reviews. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in policy, public administration, law, business management or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in local government, statutory planning or policy. Strong understanding of the Local Government Act 2002 and related legislative frameworks. Remuneration Initial offer within the range of $102,240 – $107,920. Additional Information All staff must uphold the Council’s Te Tiriti o Waitangi responsibilities, including partnership with mana whenua and supporting commitments to Ngāi Tahu ki Murihiku through the Charter of Understanding. #J-18808-Ljbffr
