Mobile Plant & Workshop Supervisor | Underground Gold Mining $190,000 + Accommodation Allowance + Health Insurance 7 Days On | 7 Days Off | Overtime Opportunities Build Something Bigger Than a Job Your role will help shape a new underground gold operation from its inception. It is a leadership position that goes beyond a standard maintenance supervisor, offering an opportunity to influence systems, standards and culture across a major mining operation. About the Role As the Mobile Plant & Workshop Supervisor, you will lead all mobile maintenance and workshop operations to ensure equipment reliability, safety and performance across the site. You will play a key leadership role in managing maintenance execution, developing personnel capability and ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest operational standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor workshop and maintenance personnel Oversee planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance activities Ensure mobile fleet availability and reliability targets are achieved Maintain workshop safety, compliance and operational standards Coordinate contractors, vendors and external service providers Support maintenance planning and scheduling processes Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement Manage parts, inventory and maintenance resources Develop team capability through training and leadership Promote a strong safety‑first and reliability‑focused culture About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mechanical or related discipline Strong experience in mining, quarrying, civil or heavy industrial maintenance Proven leadership experience within workshop or maintenance teams Strong understanding of mobile plant reliability and maintenance systems Excellent communication and leadership capability Commitment to safety, performance and operational excellence Current Driver Licence Desirable Previous Mining Industry Experience Supervisor or leadership training qualifications Experience managing mobile mining fleets Exposure to maintenance planning systems (CMMS or similar) What’s In It for You? $190,000 annual salary package 7 on / 7 off roster supporting work‑life balance Overtime opportunities available Accommodation allowance provided Private health insurance Long‑term employment with a growing mining operation Leadership role with genuine career progression opportunities Opportunity to influence systems, maintenance strategy and culture Modern workshop facilities and mobile fleet Strong safety‑first and performance‑driven environment Why Leaders Are Joining This Operation Being part of the founding leadership team Direct influence on maintenance systems and operational standards Long‑term stability – mine life exceeding 10 years First gold production targeted within months Opportunity to build a high‑performing maintenance culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
