We have a great opportunity to join our site-based Hydro team, where you’ll join a highly motivated team that maintains, operates, manages and continuously improves our renewable hydro generation assets. We are looking for a Site Electrical Engineer to provide technical electrical engineering support to our site maintenance and operational teams. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges, working closely with others and helping improve the performance and reliability of critical assets. This role is site-based and can accommodate people from Taupo and Rotorua regions. About the Role As Site Engineer – Electrical, you’ll provide hands‑on technical engineering support across Mercury’s generation assets and wider business. You’ll deliver and manage site-based engineering projects, monitor asset condition, support return‑to‑service quality processes, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and ways of working.
