We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health Therapies team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting people across a variety of inpatient and community settings throughout the MidCentral district. As an Allied Health Assistant, you'll work under the direction of registered allied health clinicians to deliver therapy programmes, support rehabilitation, assist with equipment provision, and help people achieve their health and wellbeing goals. About the Role Working as part of a collaborative Allied Health team, you will: Deliver delegated therapy interventions under the supervision of registered clinicians. Support patients and whaiora to achieve greater independence and confidence in their daily lives. Assist with the assessment, delivery and installation of equipment. Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising clinician. Complete clinical documentation and provide administrative support. Work across a range of clinical areas as required to meet service needs. Build positive relationships with patients, whānau and the wider multidisciplinary team. A current full New Zealand driver's licence. Experience working in health, rehabilitation, disability support or community services would be an advantage, but most importantly you'll have a genuine desire to support people on their recovery journey.
