Salary Band – $74,842 - $104,466 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver This role belongs to the DHBs/PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842 p.a) and Step 7 ($104,466 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-based Allied, Public Health and Technical Salary scale. It involves working alongside other Allied Health team members to plan and provide patient-centred rehabilitation to our community in the irown homes. You will also work closely with our acute colleagues and have opportunities to work across the continuum of care by in-reaching into the hospital. This role requires an interest and passion for rehabilitation, and the ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced ward environment. An understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective discharge in a community setting is essential. Responsibilities You will work both autonomously and as part of a great team, and be responsible for managing, and prioritising your patient caseload. Key to be part of and develop quality services in collaboration with other committed inter-professional team of health professionals. Attend regular in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework and access to course and conference funding. Vetting and Background Checks Occupational Health Assessment Police Vetting / Ministry of Justice safety checks Serious misconduct checks (previous Public Service departments and statutory Crown entities only) Qualifications Exceptional team-player with the ability to work collaboratively across a wider multi-disciplinary team. Have at least 1-2 years’ experience and be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ and hold a current annual practicing certificate.
