Napier Location 2x Full time, permanent opportunities Work in partnership with whānau hapū/iwi and their community Mō te tūnga | About the role As a Social Worker, you will build high‑trust and positive relationships with rangatahi. Your mahi will create an environment, support and services that promote wellbeing and prevent them from entering the formal Youth Justice system. You will help rangatahi achieve their goals, connect with culture, and improve relationships with whānau hapū/iwi and the wider community. This is a unique role at Oranga Rangatahi early intervention programme in Napier. Working within a small team, you will partner with rangatahi, their whānau, Police and community support services to address the factors contributing to the risk of offending. You will have a real opportunity to positively influence rangatahi and whānau in the community. We believe that in the right environment, with the right people, tamariki and rangatahi can flourish.
