Role Description The Project Manager role at Natural Habitats Landscapes is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering landscaping projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Day‑to‑day tasks include managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating materials and resources, overseeing site work and inspections, and liaising with clients, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements, resolve issues that arise during project delivery, and provide clear reporting on project progress. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement in project processes and contributing to a collaborative, safety‑focused site culture. Qualifications Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination. Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage material orders, supplier follow‑ups, and timely delivery of resources. Inspection capabilities to monitor site work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications. Logistics Management skills to coordinate equipment, transportation, and on‑site resource allocation. Experience in construction, landscaping, or civil projects, preferably within New Zealand. Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Relevant qualification in project management, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
