The Opportunity We are currently seeking experienced Jumbo Operators to join our team in North Island, New Zealand. This is your chance to be part of an exciting, dynamic team with opportunities for professional growth and development. Position Details Roster: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off (2&2) Location: North Island, New Zealand Travel Options: FIFO from NZ or AUS, DIDO, or Residential Compensation: Competitive New Zealand pay rates with plenty of overtime About You Previous onsite experience in a similar role with willingness to grow Experience operating Jumbo Sandvik DD421 Proven ability to bore 3×4m rounds or bolt and mesh 2.5m headings during a shift; utilise drills in the fleet to achieve required productivity and daily plan goals (including boring, bolting, meshing development headings, stripping, rehabilitation, cuddies, and sumps) A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills A proactive commitment to maintaining a zero‑harm safety culture A flexible and “can‑do” attitude to adapt to the role’s demands Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Medical, including a Drug & Alcohol test How to Apply Take the next step in your mining career and join a team that values your skills and contributions.
