Clinical Nurse Specialist - CNS - Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Clinical Nurse Specialist - CNS - Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital Permanent /Part-Time 64 Hours a Fortnight 0.8 FTE This is a unique opportunity to combine specialist clinical practice, service development and advocacy to create lasting positive outcomes for tamariki and whānau navigating neurodevelopmental care. About the Role As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Paediatric Neurodevelopmental, you will provide specialist nursing expertise to support tamariki and rangatahi with neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular focus on ADHD. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate care, manage referrals and triage processes, support neurodevelopmental assessments, and provide ongoing clinical care that improves outcomes for children and their whānau. The Neurodevelopmental team works closely with Paediatricians, the Child Development Service, Paediatric Outpatients and community partners to provide coordinated support for tamariki with neurodevelopmental needs. Based at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, you will join a passionate and collaborative team focused on improving access, equity and outcomes for the children and families we serve. For more information on living and working in Hawkes Bay clickHERE About you As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will bring: Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). At least five years clinical experience in paediatric nursing, public health, child psychiatry or a related specialty. A postgraduate nursing qualification (or equivalent experience) and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Strong clinical assessment, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and community settings. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, health equity, and improving outcomes for tamariki, rangatahi and whānau.
