0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Permanent Position – Ward 16, Christchurch Hospital Shifts rostered across Monday – Sunday; morning, afternoon and night. About the Role As a Registered Nurse on an Acute General Medicine ward, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care to a diverse range of acutely unwell adult patients while working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team. This role offers an opportunity to develop clinical skills in a fast‑paced environment and make a meaningful difference to patients and their whānau. About the Service Ward 16 is a 22‑bed acute general medical ward at Christchurch Hospital. The team promotes a restorative care approach and works closely with patients and their whānau. About You We seek a Registered Nurse with an interest in acute general medicine. Key attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong assessment and organisational abilities, and the ability to contribute positively to a team. Qualifications Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). Experience in acute medical settings is desirable. Able to work across all shifts: Monday to Sunday; morning, afternoon and night.
