Operations Supervisor, Afternoon Shift

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Mosgiel, NewZealand facility. Summary Play a pivotal role in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations on the afternoon shift (3:30pm peak season, 1:30pm winter), leading a team of 12–15 warehouse operatives to deliver high‑quality services to our clients. What you’ll be doing Supervise and coordinate warehouse operatives to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard within set timelines. Monitor and optimise warehouse workflows and processes to drive productivity and operational excellence. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations. Provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior management. Foster a positive, co‑operative and safety‑focused work culture. Assist with the training and development of warehouse staff. What we’re looking for 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics operations supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to address operational challenges. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a logistics environment. Cooperative and adaptable relationship builder with a focus on continuous improvement.
