Job Description
Learn real B2B sales. Work alongside a senior operator. Build a career in one of the fastest-evolving tech-enabled industries. Mentored by a Senior BDM with 17 years’ experience — learn how deals are actually won Sell modern security solutions — including AI-enabled CCTV monitoring and alarm monitoring services Clear 4–5 year path to becoming a top salesperson with strong commission + company car Why this role exists This role exists to support Code 9’s sales growth — following up leads, onboarding customers, and helping convert opportunities into long-term clients. But the bigger picture is this: The security industry is changing fast. Traditional alarm monitoring is evolving into intelligent, tech-enabled monitoring — combining CCTV, remote monitoring, and AI-driven detection to deliver smarter, more proactive protection. You’ll be learning how to sell modern security solutions that businesses are actively shifting towards. What makes this different This isn’t a sink-or-swim sales job. You’ll work directly alongside a highly experienced Senior BDM, learning: how to prospect properly (not just cold call blindly) how to run meetings and uncover real client needs how to structure deals and close cleanly how to onboard and grow accounts long-term Over time, you’ll move from supporting to contributing to owning: Year 1–2: Learn, support, build capability Year 2–3: Take ownership of smaller accounts Year 3–5: Manage larger, more complex clients If you’re good, your earnings should reflect it — with commission designed so you benefit directly from the growth you create. What you’ll be doing You’ll be involved across the full sales cycle: Prospecting & market research — identifying target industries and opportunities Inbound lead response — fast follow-up, setting meetings, early engagement Customer onboarding — site visits, understanding needs, helping build quotes and contracts Account support — staying close to customers and stakeholders Internal coordination — working with ops, tech, and support teams to deliver what’s sold This is how you actually learn sales — by being in it. Who this is perfect for This role is perfect for someone who: Has strong ambition and has genuinely been thinking about a career in sales Doesn’t yet have the perfect pathway — but wants to build one properly Is a go‑getter: follows through, takes ownership, doesn’t wait to be told Is comfortable with technology (you’ll be working with systems, proposals, and modern security solutions) Wants to work in a team that is growing and pushing forward You could be: Early in your career Coming from retail, hospitality, or another people-facing role In an entry-level sales role but lacking proper development Or sitting in a role thinking "I could be doing more" What you’ll get Hands‑on development from a senior operator Exposure to real B2B sales, not watered‑down tasks Strong commission structure (~20% of base for solid performance) Company car A role where, if you perform, your earnings can realistically double over ~4 years #J-18808-Ljbffr
