Role Description Role-players and Language/Culture Presenters contribute to realistic training scenarios by portraying a range of characters and conveying language and cultural context relevant to specific operational environments. In this hybrid role, based in Wellington with some work‑from‑home flexibility, team members prepare scenario materials, review scripts or briefing notes, and coordinate with facilitators to ensure accurate representation of cultural and linguistic elements. Day‑to‑day activities include participating in live exercises, workshops, and simulations; providing feedback on scenario design; and adapting role‑play based on participant needs and training objectives. The role also involves maintaining professionalism, following safety and confidentiality protocols, and supporting debriefs to help improve future training events. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including clear spoken English and the ability to convey information confidently in front of groups. Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to represent specific cultural contexts accurately and respectfully. Experience or comfort with performance, role‑play, or acting in training, educational, or community settings. Ability to follow scripts and scenario guidelines while improvising appropriately within defined parameters. Excellent interpersonal skills, including reliability, collaboration, and the ability to take direction from facilitators and coordinators. Organizational skills to manage schedules, prepare materials in advance, and respond to changing training requirements. Previous experience in education, training, community engagement, or related fields is beneficial. Fluency or proficiency in additional languages, especially those relevant to client needs, is an advantage. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, attending in‑person activities in Wellington and completing some preparation or follow‑up tasks from home. #J-18808-Ljbffr
