The Role As a Credit Assessor at Pepper, you’ll play a key role in helping customers move forward with confidence. You’ll assess applications in line with our credit policies, balancing sound decision‑making with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and customer experience. You’ll be trusted to make thoughtful credit decisions, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and ensure every application is handled with care and professionalism. Credit Assessment: Review and assess applications in line with Pepper’s credit policies and process standards, applying sound judgement and attention to detail. Documentation Management: Collect, review and organise all required documentation, ensuring records are clear, complete and easy to access. Customer Service: Deliver a consistently high level of service to internal and external stakeholders, responding promptly and communicating clearly throughout the process. About you You’re a confident, commercially minded credit professional who takes pride in making balanced decisions and delivering great outcomes for customers. Underwriting Experience: A proven background in flexible, responsible credit assessment, with the ability to make well reasoned decisions. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and professionalism. Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of the lending regulatory environment, and a commitment to doing the right thing. At Pepper Money, collaboration is just as vital as your skills.
