Position Overview Class 5 Truck Driver & swinglift operator at GURSIFT INVESTMENTS LTD in Auckland City, New Zealand. Full‑time on‑site position, night shift, Monday to Saturday. Qualifications & Requirements Full Class 5 Driver License or equivalent overseas driving licence D endorsement Non‑smoker At least an overseas full Heavy Motor Licence equivalent to a Class 5 NewZealand licence Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test 24 months or less of relevant experience in NewZealand or overseas No specific qualification required Valid work visa or NewZealand citizenship and permanent residency Responsibilities Drive a truck and trailer or any combination unit under a Class5 driving licence Operate truck on the night shift and maintain Logbook as per NZTA requirements Load and unload freight and shipping containers Operate truck safely within legal weight limits Comply with the Health and Safety Act 2015 Wear appropriate PPE during operations Communicate with the dispatcher for every consignment Report incidents (accidents or near misses) Clean the cab interior before handing over to the next shift driver Maintain truck cleanliness inside and wash outside Perform a pre‑start check on the truck and trailer before use Report any breakdowns immediately Pay & Hours Minimum hourly rate: $25.50Maximum hourly rate: $29Minimum hours: 30 hours per weekMaximum hours: 60 hours per weekEstimated start 6pm, finish 6am, but may change as per roster.
