Physiotherapist – Activity With Arthritis & Musculoskeletal Outpatients We are seeking a Proficient Physiotherapist to deliver the Activity With Arthritis Programme (AWA). This is a full‑time position, with flexibility for part‑time hours, based in musculoskeletal outpatient clinics and rural health facilities. The role aims to reduce or prevent deterioration in a person’s musculoskeletal condition, improving their quality of life and reducing future costs. You will work closely with Physiotherapists involved in Orthopaedic Triage and the Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Outpatient team. Responsibilities Provide assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal outpatient clients, including pain management and exercise programs. Deliver the Activity With Arthritis Programme (AWA) and related group exercise sessions. Collaborate with the orthopaedic triage team and musculoskeletal outpatient staff to coordinate care. Adapt caseload to meet clinical demand and provide varied learning opportunities. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Qualifications & Experience Current New Zealand Physiotherapy Annual Practising Certificate. Valid work visa for New Zealand (or NZ residency as appropriate). Ideally at least five years’ experience working with musculoskeletal patients. A passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and a desire to continue learning.
