Procurement System Specialist Support procurement system design and optimisation to improve process efficiency and outcomes. Permanent opportunity based in Wellington. Responsibilities Lead the design, optimisation and ongoing improvement of procurement systems to enhance user experience and streamline processes. Act as the critical link between business needs, procurement practice and technology, driving system capability, supporting adoption and ensuring systems underpin efficient, compliant and effective end-to-end procurement delivery. Translate business needs into system-enabled solutions and drive continuous improvement. Support system adoption through training, guidance and capability uplift. Engage stakeholders across business groups, digital teams and vendors. Use system data and insights to inform decision-making and performance improvement. Qualifications Experience working with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba or similar. Strong procurement and contract management experience across the end-to-end lifecycle. Ability to translate business needs into system-enabled solutions and drive continuous improvement. Experience supporting system adoption through training, guidance and capability uplift. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Analytical capability to use system data and insights to inform decision-making. Proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
