Assistant Property Manager Location: Auckland – Tāmaki Makaurau, New Zealand. We're looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our high-performing team, supporting the management of a commercial property portfolio while gaining exposure to financial operations and business administration. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early property management experience who enjoys balancing tenant engagement, financial administration and operational coordination. You'll work closely with experienced Property Managers and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and occupiers. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio. Build strong relationships with tenants, clients, contractors and internal stakeholders. Assist with lease administration, renewals, rent reviews and tenancy management. Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial reports. Monthly review of revenue forecast, P&L, cost and revenue allocation, passthrough charges, follow-up of anomalies and follow-up of bad debt. Monitor arrears, invoicing and property-related financial transactions. Maintain accurate tenancy schedules, property records and compliance documentation. Coordinate meetings, reporting and stakeholder communications.Contribute to the efficient running of the wider Property Management team. About You 12+ months' experience in commercial property management, property administration or a similar role. Strong financial and administrative capability. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach, strong communication and relationship-building skills. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
