Job Description

Our Story: Overdose is a global digital commerce agency working with some of the largest and most ambitious retail and B2B brands across Australia, New Zealand and further afield. We design, build and migrate commerce platforms, run marketing, SEO and GEO, have a scaling Data practice, and we increasingly do all of it AI‑native. We call this Complete Commerce. The Opportunity This role is about making Overdose more visible, more consistently. We have strong expertise across commerce, marketing, SEO, data, AI, design and technology. We do not yet turn enough of that expertise into regular content, social activity, website updates, case studies, PR inputs and event communications. That is what you will fix. Working closely with the CCO, CEO, commercial team, subject matter experts, designers, and our partners, you will turn ideas into clear, useful, well‑written content that helps the market understand who we are and what we do. This is a hands‑on role. You will be writing, editing, coordinating, briefing, publishing, repurposing, and scheduling across multiple channels. You will not own the entire brand strategy or go‑to‑market direction; your job is to bring that direction to life with consistency, quality, and pace. Qualifications Proven experience in content marketing, brand communications, or editorial production in an agency, B2B, SaaS, technology, eCommerce, or professional services environment. Strong writing skills with good editorial judgment across tone, quality, and accuracy. The ability to manage a content calendar, multiple deadlines, and a range of stakeholders simultaneously without losing momentum or quality. Experience working with senior leaders and subject matter experts to produce content, drawing good material out of busy people efficiently. Active and considered use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, with the ability to maintain editorial standards and use AI to improve output rather than replace judgment. An instinct for the system behind a task, not just the task itself. Experience managing social channels, with a particular focus on LinkedIn. The ability to work independently without needing every step explained, while knowing when to seek direction. Experience briefing designers and developers clearly and efficiently. Familiarity with CMS platforms, social scheduling tools, and basic analytics platforms. Responsibilities Write, edit, repurpose and schedule content across website, thought leadership, case studies, events, and campaigns, accurate, on‑brand, and moving from brief to published without stalling. Apply and protect the Overdose tone of voice across all content, reviewing copy before it goes to market and building guidelines that make it easier for others to contribute without needing everything checked from scratch. Run the Overdose LinkedIn presence day to day, company page, leader support, scheduling, and growing reach in a way that builds genuine commercial visibility. Keep service pages, case studies, and campaign content current, briefing the design and development team with clear, complete briefs when updates are needed. Support awards submissions and event communications from input gathering through to published content, turning each event into useful material before and after it happens. Use content and social data to understand what is working, report clearly to leadership, and change what is not, making the brand and content engine faster and more consistent over time. Why Join the OD Crew? We work by design, not by default. A select client model means the work is deliberate, the relationships are real, and your impact is measurable. Being AI‑native is not a positioning line. It shapes how every person here delivers. You will have the tools to move fast and a team that builds with AI every day. We are serious about people. A safe, supportive environment shapes how we work, grow and lead. Real ownership. Direct access to leadership. A team worth showing up for. Benefits Hybrid working arrangements. Two Wellness days per year. Additional day of leave to celebrate your birthday. Annual training allowance. Access to globally recognised courses and programs. Parental Leave support that goes beyond the standard. If this feels like the kind of work you’d like to do, we’d love to hear from you. Share a piece of work you’re proud of, what impact it had and how you used AI to help you do it. That’s what matters most to us. Overdose is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to a fair and inclusive recruitment process. Job by department: Commercial & Partnerships #J-18808-Ljbffr
