Senior Project Manager

End-to-end civil construction project delivery ($5-20m) $160-200K (international visa support and relocation package offered) Awell-established and highly respected civil contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects across Hawkes Bay. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on taking ownership from project inception through to completion. Youll be responsible for driving project performance, managing commercial outcomes and leading teams to successfully deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. THE OPPORTUNITY Lead the end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects of varying scale and complexity Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and resource planning Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors and site teams Drive commercial performance, forecasting and project profitability Manage client relationships and key stakeholder engagement Identify and manage project risks, variations and opportunities Champion safety, quality and environmental excellence throughout project delivery ABOUT YOU Minimum 10 years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects as a Project Manager Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and contractual obligations Demonstrated experience with project planning, programming and project controls Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Highly organised with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline This opportunity would suit a Senior Project Manager who enjoys a hands‑on leadership role and wants to work for a business that genuinely values excellence, integrity, innovation, collaboration and its people.
