About the role In this truly hands‑on role, you’ll be supporting the rentals & logistics team in coordinating the day‑to‑day deliveries of all forklifts. This involves locating the correct trucks and ensuring all accessories are correct and accounted for, with all paperwork completed, ready for delivery. Then, when trucks are returned from site, they are processed ready to be dispatched again. Your enthusiasm and energy will be essential in this role as will your ability to work well with the team. Key responsibilities Physically check all upcoming deliveries of machines, ensuring the machines have been charged and are located in the dispatch area Check that all delivery dockets have been created and processed ready for invoicing Assist with “Off Hiring” processing when assets are returned to branch Assist with stock counts to ensure all assets are accounted for Provide a high level of customers service to both internal and external customers Assist the Transport drivers with unloading and loading equipment, if required What will you need Full driver's license, with the ability to drive a manual PLUS a forklift license Strong communication skills and work well in a team Be customer‑focused and understand the importance of providing great customer service Be solutions‑focused and able to think on your feet Be physically fit and comfortable manually preparing trucks for dispatch Be confident with technology and learning new technical skills Have strong attention to detail skills What we can offer you In return, we’ll offer you a market‑related pay rate and excellent opportunities for on‑going training and development – not to mention a strong and collaborative team environment.
