Caregiver

Job Description As a Caregiver at our Paraparaumu Village , you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our residents’ daily lives. Responsibilities Deliver meals and help with mealtimes. Aid with hygiene tasks such as showering. Assist with individual care plan requirements, including walks and exercises. Help with activities such as puzzles and table tennis. The shift pattern and hours for this role are: 4 days on, 2 days off. AM/PM/Night shifts. You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives. Qualifications Experience in aged care or a similar role. Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships. Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts.
