PE, English and Other Subjects Teacher

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher. English, Health and physical education. Permanent full-time teacher required to teach physical education, English and other subjects— junior and senior NCEA Level 1-3. Preferred attributes Trained and qualified teacher, with current NZ Teacher Registration. Qualification and experience in physical education, English and other subjects NECE Level 1-3. Experience in working with young people. Experience in NCEA qualifications. Experience in working with Maōri and Pasifika young people. Knowledge of and understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to motivate and enthuse young people to learn. Ability and willing to contribute to the wider life of the school outside the classroom. The ability to complete other tasks as included in the Job Description. Knowledge of the Tokoroa community and a belief in the potential of the young people at Tokoroa High School.
