KITCHENDESIGN & RETAIL Mitre 10 Kerikeri is locally owned and operated and renowned for our customer service. This role is within one of the key inspirational areas within our store with a chance to really inspire our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to use your creative flair to design and sell our kitchen and bathroom range, helping our customer in all aspects of their kitchen/bathroom makeovers. Whether you are designing from scratch or selecting the right flat‑pack options, working in this department means really listening to our customers so we can deliver the right solution. Retail sales over two areas play a big part in this role to keep you busy too. This is a 32 hour per week position, shifts will involve one weekend shift per week and may include public holidays. An Ideal Candidate will have: A passion for customer service excellence; Great communication skills This role is all about 10ths of millimetres, attention to detail is imperative Experience within a retail environment will be an advantage The ability to work well under pressure The ability to work on a roster including a weekend day About the Role: Growing sales by providing exceptional customer service Maintain high merchandising standards & manage stock Bringing out of the box thinking for kitchen and bathroom design You will help with presentation of on the floor stock, and displays You’ll be trained on our Design Software Heavy lifting and physical movement is required Promoting health and safety, ensuring safe work practices within your team at all times.
