About the role Community based – supporting children who have high communication and eating/drinking support needs and their whānau/families Working alongside kaiako to support inclusion Support successful transitions to school Support whānau/families to get early information, resources and support so that disabled children get the best start in life. Working as part of a transdisciplinary team with other specialists from agencies such as Child Development services, BLENNZ, Ko Taku Reo and Ministry of Education General: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts We work within a human rights framework and are committed to equal opportunity in all our employment policies and procedures.
