Working within Ātea ā Rangi, Strategy, you will provide strategic leadership, expert analytical advice, and evidence-based insights that inform decision-making across the Ministry of Justice and the wider Justice Sector.You will lead complex analytical work programmes, influence senior leaders, and help drive better justice outcomes for Aotearoa New Zealand. This role is ideal for an experienced analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, leading others, and turning data into compelling insights that support real system change.Key responsibilities include:* Lead strategic analytical work programmes* Commission and scope impactful analysis* Provide expert advice on methodology and standards* Manage large datasets, models and analytical outputs* Deliver insights that inform sector decision-making* Coach, mentor and develop analytical capability* Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders* Drive continuous improvement and best practice**Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience**No candidate will meet every single desired qualification.
