Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, Ngā Harakeke mai Rongokako - Child, Adolescent & Family Services Permanent, Part-time – 64 hours per fortnight (0.8FTE). About the Role As a Clinical Psychologist in CAFS, you'll provide specialist psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau. You'll deliver evidence‑based therapies, including individual and group interventions, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, supporting mental health and wellbeing for young people across Hawkes Bay. You'll also play a key role in promoting culturally safe practice, upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and ensuring high standards of care within a dynamic and supportive environment. About the Team/Service/Location Ngā Harakeke mai Rongokako Child, Adolescent & Family Services is a dedicated team based at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital. We work collaboratively with whānau, schools, and community agencies to provide holistic, family‑centred mental health and addiction services for young people. Registration under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act with a current practising certificate. Clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health and addictions. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity. Ability to deliver or willingness to train in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
