About theRole TheClinical Nurse Coordinator is a key professional nursing role across Health NZNelson Marlborough clinical services. Thepurpose of the position is to: Provideexpert clinical advice to support the co-ordination of high quality, safe,evidence based and patient focused care in the community. Facilitateclinical excellence and provide measured data to support patient-focusedclinical outcomes. Monitorcare delivery along with clinical and professional performance to supportstaff to achieve relevant Professional Portfolio levels. Partnerwith Nurse Educators to identify educational needs and provide educationand mentoring for staff to address these needs. Provideresources and learning opportunities for ensuring the ongoing competencyof EN’s and RN’s in collaboration with the Associate Charge Nurse Manager(ACNM). Supportthe ACNM in the day-to-day provision of a service that covers palliativecare in urban and rural district nursing. Ifyou are a skilled and committed registered nurse with expert clinical knowledgeand leadership capability, this could be the position for you. Experience incommunity nursing is required. Youwill have NZNC registration, a current practising certificate and a fulldriver's licence. Post registration study and experience inleadership/medical/surgical or community nursing is required. Inthis role you will be able to apply your expertise and clinical nursingexperience to make a real difference to people’s lives.
