Line mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Line Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power lines and related equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a reliable power supply, working on overhead and underground electrical systems, and responding to maintenance and emergency repairs. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain overhead and underground power lines. Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or damage. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on power distribution networks. Work with transformers, switchgear, and associated electrical equipment. Climb power poles and operate bucket trucks to reach electrical infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Respond to power outages, emergencies, and scheduled maintenance work. Work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, and utility companies. Requirements Qualified Line Mechanic with relevant trade certification. Experience working with power distribution and transmission networks. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
