With strong community connections, local clubs, groups, and early learning providers around us, this is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced new entrant teacher to make a lasting difference at the most important starting point of schooling. We are seeking an experienced new entrant teacher to lead learning for our newest tamariki, supporting smooth transitions into school and building strong foundations for lifelong learning. The successful applicant will: have proven new entrant teaching experience be BSLA trained, with strong structured literacy knowledge and practice be knowledgeable in Maths No Problem and effective structured numeracy practice understand school transitions and be able to demonstrate how they have developed strong relationships with local early learning providers in their current context create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, settled, and successful use data thoughtfully to differentiate, adapt programmes, and support targeted acceleration build excellent relationships with whānau and communicate with clarity, warmth, and professionalism bring energy, humour, and heart, while holding high expectations for learning and wellbeing.
