Auckland Regional Manager – Industrial Automation This is a genuinely interesting leadership opportunity with a well-regarded industrial automation integration business that has built a strong reputation across New Zealand. They work across demanding sectors – dairy, food & beverage, water, manufacturing – and have cultivated deep, long-standing relationships with some of the country’s most recognised organisations. You’ll lead a small team of automation engineers, stay hands‑on with project work, and continue growing the region’s presence. This isn’t a pure management role – you’ll be expected to contribute technically alongside your team while also driving the commercial side of the business. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Auckland regional team day‑to‑day Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region Prepare tenders, technical estimates, and proposals Oversee project delivery from scoping through to commissioning Maintain and grow relationships with existing long‑term clients Collaborate with national leadership on strategy and resource planning Remain hands‑on with project and engineering work as required Candidate Requirements Proven background in industrial automation engineering – PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming across recognised platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, or similar) Experience in project delivery within manufacturing, dairy, food & beverage, water/wastewater, or related sectors Demonstrated ability to manage a small technical team Commercial acumen – experience with tenders, estimating, or business development is important Strong client relationship skills and the confidence to represent the business externally NZ work rights required #J-18808-Ljbffr
