SQL Developer | Permanent Opportunity We’re partnering with a leading organisation seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join their collaborative Agile team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle and contributing to meaningful platform improvements. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting and implementing changes to a core billing application while working closely with technical teammates to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll be involved in planning, designing, building, testing, releasing, and supporting solutions in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll be doing Planning, scheduling, and monitoring workload effectively. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. Estimating backlog items and breaking work into manageable tasks. Implementing backlog items in line with acceptance criteria. Writing unit tests and producing clear documentation. Supporting team members and contributing to a strong collaborative culture. What you’ll need 3+ years’ experience developing and supporting software applications. Strong SQL database development experience. Sound understanding of Agile practices and technical delivery methods. Familiarity with TDD, BDD, pair programming, and CI/CD. A proactive mindset and the ability to get up to speed quickly. Experience in utility billing software is highly regarded. .NET development experience is desirable. Knowledge of utility industry concepts is an advantage. Why this role?
