Draughtsperson

HEB Construction is a dynamic and innovative leader in the construction of New Zealand's Infrastructure. We are involved with a variety of projects from road construction and maintenance through to earthworks, drainage, marine works, and major projects of national significance. We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsperson to join our Structures team, with the flexibility to be based in Tauranga, Auckland or Christchurch. You'll play a key role in developing accurate technical drawings, models, and documentation, working closely with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver high‑quality structural solutions. About You A qualification in AutoCAD, CAD Drafting, or equivalent 4+ years of professional draughting experience A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable) Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and MS Office Strong ability to read, interpret and prepare engineering and construction drawings, designs, and specifications A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy Key Responsibilities Producing accurate technical drawings, models, and project documentation using 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) Preparing structural and construction drawings in line with project requirements and specifications Collaborating with Engineers, Project Managers, and project teams to support the delivery of quality outcomes Managing drawing revisions and maintaining project records Reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance What we offer At HEB, you’re not just joining a team, you’re joining a workplace that genuinely looks out for you.
