This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your Privacy and Official Information Act expertise in a complex, fast‑paced public sector environment, ensuring compliance in meeting statutory obligations. About the Role - Tēnei tūranga A unique aspect, and the main part, of this role is supporting the management of Privacy Act and Official Information Act (OIA) requests for Employment Relations matters, ensuring the branch meets its statutory obligations with accuracy and timeliness. As an Employment Relations Advisor, you’ll also support the team to provide high‑quality advice across a wide range of employment matters. You’ll support the team’s partnership with leaders and colleagues to ensure consistent, people‑centred outcomes. What you’ll be doing Managing and responding to Privacy Act and OIA requests within legislative timeframes Contributing to reporting, insights, and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting the team with delivery of consistent ER practices across the organisation Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve processes and outcomes Skills and Experience Required - Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana Experience working with or interpreting the Privacy Act and Official Information Act and meeting legislative deadlines Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and build trust Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively Knowledge of employment relations and HR best practice A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a continuous improvement lens Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand #J-18808-Ljbffr
