Responsibilities Complete morning shift duties as per Opening Sheet and store duties in store Prepare store rosters for management approval Assist in monitoring store operations Monitor quality of product and customer service standards, front of store presentation and outdoor areas Complete Stocktake, WISR, Control Sheet and submit after review by the Manager Adjust wage timesheet for submission to the Manager Complete drinks, vegetable and milk orders on the required day and the countrywide order when manager is away Keep abreast of store costs when completing the WISR and report excesses to the Manager Bank store takings as required Communicate store operation standards and new processes to staff as required Provide training for new employees Be available to other staff for instruction on new training techniques and direction & support Lead by example in consistently delivering customer service excellence and positive team culture behaviours Report all customer complaints to the Manager and respond & take remedial action if the manager is not available Report equipment failure to the Manager immediately and generally maintain equipment Respond efficiently in times of equipment failure if the manager is not available Implement & manage change in an efficient, constructive & positive way Maintain required health and safety standards, store food, safety, and hygiene standards at all times Maintain uniform standards, including name badge Other duties may be required as circumstances dictate Requirements Management experience in a fast-paced retail environment Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude High level honesty, integrity, authenticity, self and team awareness Minimum of 2 employer references required On-site availability for some weekend shifts Roles initially on trial with support and review within 90 days Work Arrangement Full time, on site, located in Masterton, N, NZ.
