Are you a reliable, safety-focused team player looking for your next opportunity in yard and warehousing operations? Waters & Farr is looking for a Yard Operator to join our Rangiora site. About the Role As our Yard Operator, you'll oversee inwards and outwards yard operations, managing raw materials and factory staging. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment while supporting the efficient manufacturing, storage, and movement of our products to customers. What You'll Be Doing Ensuring trucks are loaded and despatched safely, efficiently, and with correct documentation Supporting inventory management, including cycle counts, stocktakes, and FIFO stock rotation Processing scrap product efficiently while maintaining good housekeeping Championing health, safety, and environmental best practice on-site Maintaining high standards of cleanliness using 5S methodology Supporting the wider manufacturing team, including some pipe production as required Contributing ideas for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and site appeal What We're Looking For Previous experience in yard/warehousing operations Forklift (F) endorsement and Safety Certification Strong decision‑making skills and sound judgement A genuine health and safety champion Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first attitude Flexible, reliable, and customer‑focused approach Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure A positive, "can do" attitude If you're ready to join a supportive team where your contribution truly matters, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
