Part-Time Contract Scrum Master / Delivery Lead

Scrum Master / Delivery Lead (Contract) We are looking for a high‑impact Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to support a strategic modernisation project for our client. This is a part‑time engagement (20 hours / 2.5 days per week) for an initial 6‑month term. Location: Auckland CBD, hybrid arrangement – fully on‑site in Auckland CBD; flexible structure of the 2.5 days. Compensation: $100–$115 per hour (negotiable). Responsibilities Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies to keep the team focused on sprint goals. Own the full delivery lifecycle for the high‑stakes project, proactively removing blockers and hunting risks. Act as the bridge between technical squads and client leadership. Partner with Product Owners to groom and prioritise the backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Translate technical updates into clear, actionable insights for executives and stakeholders. Collaborate with teams and other stakeholders on documentation. Qualifications Expert Agile facilitation skills. Strategic delivery and risk management experience. Strong communication skills for both team and executive stakeholders. Experience nurturing high‑performance, cross‑functional culture and promoting T‑shaped expertise. Additional Information Required: Valid New Zealand work visa.
